It’s hard to believe that it was in 1987 – 38 years ago as of writing – that U2 stopped traffic with their The Streets Have No Name video in LA.
In a copy of the classic Beatles stunt, U2 (probably thinking they were as big as the Beatles) stopped traffic and eventually were broken up by the police, but not before they got a film clip out of it.
And some behind-the-scenes footage of that fateful day.
