What a productive day of movie hunting I had this week!
I managed to find an op shop I hadn’t been too before and it was totally worth the visit. I managed to get Star Trek: The Voyage Home, The Faculty, Casablanca, Space Camp, Contagion, and The Bridge at Remagen.
Space Camp was the real gem in this collection.
I have been after it online for a while now, but it’s always been a tad too expensive. But I managed to grab it for just $2!
The worst of this lot is Contagion, but it was a last second pick as the movie I originally choose (I cannot remember what it was now) was missing the disc.
It’s rating on IMDB is pretty bad, but I will give it a watch. If it sucks, I will use the case (you can never have too many spare cases).
Star Trek: The Voyage Home and The Faculty were the other two pieces of gold in this grab.
I now have three of the original Star Trek movies (Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Star Trek: The Search for Spock being the other two).
And The Faculty was recommended to me by a friend and so I was happy to find it out in the wild so I can finally see it.
Where are video rental stores when you need them?!
I am glad I ended up grabbing Casablanca too, as I have not seen it (I know, I know), and keen to check it out at some point.
It’s nice to know it’s there when I need it.
The Bridge at Remagen is one I have never seen either, but I have been getting into the old war movies big time lately, so it’s nice to have another one to watch.
Have you seen any of these movies? Let me know in the comments below!
